Valentine’s Day Gifts for Him

Today I’m sharing 10 of my favorite V-day gifts for the men in your life. The gifts listed below represent various price points as well as interests, too! I am a HUGE fan of the Bose Noice Cancelling headphones, in fact, I don’t travel without mine!

If you’re looking for some advice on what to get the lady in your life, check out yesterday’s gift guide for her.

Valentine’s Day Gifts for Her

wearing Nudestix in Royal

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, I’ve compiled a list of a few V-day surprises if you’re needing a little inspiration. If you’d rather book an activity to do together, a couples massage or cooking class can be a great way to celebrate. If you’re thinking these aren’t for you, I’ll say this, flowers & a card (written from the heart) are among some of the best gifts I’ve received.

Birthday Bliss

Today is my twenty-fifth birthday! Hooray!

I recently watched the movie Sixteen Candles- classic- where Sam (Molly Ringwald) stares at herself in the mirror on her 16th birthday wondering why she didn’t wake up and feel a big change. Like Sam, I didn’t wake up this morning feeling any big change, but I did wake up feeling incredibly loved.

a birthday brunch bellini-but we’ll get to that in a second

On Friday, there was a surprise engagement party for one of my college roommates, Lana. It was so wonderful to be there to celebrate she and her fiancee’s engagement. Saturday morning, my very own prince charming whisked me away to a day at the spa which was such a treat and incredibly relaxing. Since we were already downtown, we headed over to Noodlecat for lunch for some noodles and steamed buns (mmm). That evening a few friends hit the Mountain Movers launch party which was a hit and then finished out the night on the patio at Townhall. I love that it’s finally warm enough to wear a summer dress and enjoy a night on a patio.

And yesterday. Yesterday I had one of the best surprises of my life. I was told to be ready by noon and as we punched the address into the GPS, I figured out that we were headed to Flour, one of my very favorite brunch spots.  I swoon for their flat bread panini and of course, bellini. As we walked to our table, I was surprised with the greatest group of friends waiting at a giant table hidden behind a curtain that divided the restaurant. For someone who is pretty good picking up hints, I was completely surprised. I even got my very first ice cream birthday cake!

taking this description straight from Mean Girls:
“the greatest people you will ever meet”

After brunch, we headed to play some sand volleyball and lounge at the pool to soak up some sun!
I am feeling truly blessed.

With confetti in my hair, champagne in my hand and love in my heart

Three Thrills by Thursday

Three Thrills for this week:

1. Daisy and Cooper just melt my heart. These two pups and their love for ice cream will definitely brighten up your day and may just remind you that this weekend may call for an ice cream cone of your own.

2. It’s no secret that I love champagne. In fact, I believe you can’t fully celebrate without it. This article breaks down all the champs lingo you may not know.

3. There are a lot of exciting things happening this weekend. Speaking of champagne, Friday’s Whole Foods 5×7 theme is Summer Bubbles– so exciting!! I’m looking forward to spending time with friends, Saturday’s Mountain Movers Cleveland launch party, and my upcoming birthday! EEE! So many exciting things that I can’t even list them all— because some may or may not be a surprise!
