Life Lately: Visual Diary

Hi friends. As my friend, Ferris Bueller once said, “Life moves pretty fast. You don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” That sure feels how life has been since the beginning of the year. It’s been busy non stop but I’m continually reminding myself of the phrase “booked, busy, and blessed!”

In January, I headed to Arizona with two girlfriends for a little girls trip at Sanctuary. It was such a lovely stay and I’ll be sharing more about it in the upcoming issue of Greenwich and Darien Lifestyle Magazines.

my best girlies convinced me that we should hike Camelback, so we did!

The boys sent us a bottle of champagne at dinner one night which was very sweet

In the downtime, I’ve been living in these pajamas

I recently finished this book on the rise of Glossier. Definitely an interesting read if you were following that brand from the get go.

After a quick weekend trip to Charlotte, I unpacked and repacked and headed off to Amsterdam. I decided to fly extra comfy on the flight and ended up with an unintentional monochromatic moment.

lunch at Jansz in Amsterdam

Amsterdam was so beautiful. I loved getting to explore the days I didn’t have meetings.

On my last day, I took a quick day trip to Bruges, Belgium. I kid you not, the entire square smelled of Belgian waffles. It was beautiful and I can only imagine its breathtaking when all their flowers bloom.

I also treated myself to nice lunch and thank goodness I did because wow, these were the best mussels of my entire life. I feel like any restaurant that serves fresh seafood in a pot that looks like this knows what they’re doing!

I absolutely did indulge in a fresh waffle and it was 10/10

Once I got home, I received a package I had been very excited about: these gorgeous Adidas Spezial sneakers. You know this is saying a lot when the girl who loves heels is excited over a pair of sneakers.

When I returned from my trip, there was a winter storm warning which only lasted about a day but it was nice to see the snow.

That weekend, I popped up to Middlemarch for a popup with Jeweled Coquette and made this fun charm necklace. I’m not much of a necklace girl but I have been wanting to make my own and since then I’ve barely taken it off.

Dave and I spent Saturday on the slopes this last weekend. Our schedules have been so busy so it felt nice to spend the day together!

How’re things going for you? Have they felt as busy?

Cheers,
