Easy White Bean Hummus

This is one of my favorite quick recipes you can make for a quick get together or on Sunday for a week of snacking. I’ll make this dip and cut up some veggies & pita to combat the 3pm dire need to snack that hits during the work day. You likely already have all these ingredients in your pantry or fridge and it truly only takes about 5 minutes to make. Happy snacking!

What You’ll Need:

1 can (15oz) white beans
1-2 cloves fresh garlic
2 spoonfuls tahini
juice of 1 lemon (& zest for topping if you like!)
pinch of salt & pepper (to taste)

The How T0:

  1. Drain liquid from can of white beans and add to your food processor.
  2. Add in your garlic, lemon juice & tahini and blend until smooth, about a minute. Make sure to scrape down the sides. If you feel like it’s too thick, add a tiny bit of water. Remember, you can always add more water but add too much and you’ll have a whipped bean soup (ew).
  3. Once the dip is smooth, plate & serve with veggies & pita. I like to add a tiny bit of olive oil on top with fresh cracked black pepper.
  4. If you’re saving for later, keep this dip covered in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days.

Enjoy!

Cheers,
