I know, I know. It was 60 degrees here two weeks ago and if you pay attention to fashion, we’re in peak resort wear right now. But here in New York, we got hit with winter this weekend. It’s cold and while I wish I was shopping resort for an upcoming hiatus to a warmer climate, right now I’m bundled up.
I recently popped into J.McLaughlin’s beautiful new flagship store on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. It’s beautiful and even has an outdoor space that will be beyond picture perfect in the warmer weather.
Today I’m sharing some of my favorite J.McLaughlin cold weather pieces to keep you cozy but totally stylish. The best part is that almost everything is on sale.
This is actually taken from the JMcL patio at their flagship! One of things I love about this brand is the versatility of their clothes. All their classic pieces work together effortlessly but are insanely comfortable.
cream cashmere sweater // white shirt // black pants
I am obsessed with this outfit! This easy black shift dress has a gorgeous feather hem and can be easily dressed up for a winter soirée with the wrap. The black pumps are insanely comfortable and they also come in leopard print, which are on sale for UNDER $40!
black feather-hemmed dress // faux fur cape // black pumps
I keep joking that this outfit is like a spicy Diane Keaton. (Obsessed with her, it’s a compliment- also if you haven’t seen Something’s Gotta Give- do it) These wide legged trousers are super transitional. I always try to pick up pieces that can be easily dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. Easily a super casual, put together outfit, while also easily dressed up with a poncho and heels (see below).
faux fur // sunnies // turtleneck // pants // booties
Ta-da! Dressed up!
grey poncho // pants // black pumps // sunnies
The lighting is terrible in this photo but I had to share because of the sweater. J.McLaughlin makes the coziest sweaters of all! Oversized sweaters are one of my favorite things to wear in the winter & I’ve been living in this one.
Cheers,
A big THANK YOU to J.McLaughlin for sponsoring this post.
