Three Thrills by Thursday

First. This video is of a 13 year old Maasai boy who is using solar panels to deter lions from terrorizing their livestock. I was fortunate enough to take a trip to East Africa a few years ago and visit a few Maasai tribes, they are truly incredible people and I think it’s incredible that this innovative boy is preserving his heritage.

My second thrill this week was visiting the Andy Warhol Museum. As you’ve probably guessed, I’ve spent this week in Pittsburgh and yesterday I finally was able to visit the Warhol. I’ve always admired his work and I saw the current exhibit Halston and Warhol: Silver and Suede which features Warhol and Halston’s friendship and all the magnificent work they did together. I was swooning over all the shoes, hats and dresses.

Finally, I’ve been starting to study up for my next international trip. I enjoy traveling internationally infinitely more when I know some customs, traditions and some of the language before my trip. I came across this website that has a few international dining etiquette rules you may not know about!

It’s almost Friday!

Cheers!
