Luscious Lips

I love lipstick. And nothing ruins a good statement lipstick like dry lips. It never seems to sit quite right on your lips and can end up looking grainy and accentuating the dead skin (ew). This lip scrub is easy to make and you probably already have most of these ingredients around your kitchen:

1 tablespoon raw coconut oil
2 teaspoons brown sugar
A drizzle of honey
A drop or two of vanilla for aroma (optional)

**Combine all ingredients in a small jar and mix. Take a tiny bit onto your finger and gently rub the mixture onto your lips in a circular motion to exfoliate and slough off dead skin. Remove with warm, wet cloth (never let coconut oil go down a drain). I like to put on some Burt’s Bees on my lips right after to keep them soft and moisturized.

**Use twice a week for silky smooth lips!

Note: Though many factors contribute to dry and chapped lips, it is just one way your body shows you’re dehydrated. So make sure you’re drinking plenty of water too!

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Cheers!
